Dear Owners, On 6 February, an earthquake disaster occurred in our country, which caused great destruction in 10 provinces and wounded the heart of the whole of Turkey. The earthquake, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş, caused great destruction in Gaziantep, Hatay, Adıyaman, Adana and Malatya. While the number of our citizens who lost their lives increased day by day, thousands of our citizens remained under the rubble. While grieving families continue their painful wait in the rubble of collapsed buildings, the news is hurting everyone. After the earthquake that affected 10 provinces, the efforts to save the citizens who were under the rubble continue. As a country, we ask you to know that we are in great mourning and the pain will decrease as the pain is shared, and we ask you, our dear friends, to keep your prayers for us. Kind regards,

To all owners of the Ramada Resort & Ramada Suites, We hope that you are all keeping safe and well during these very difficult times. We are writing to you to update you all on the situation of Covid-19 here in Kusadasi, and how it is currently affecting the Resort. As like many countries around the world, to encourage social distancing all restaurants, cafes, bars, sporting events, legal hearings, meetings etc have been closed since mid March. All citizens in Turkey over the age of 65 and under the age of 20 have been instructed not to leave their homes in any circumstances, and all other citizens have been advised to stay home and only leave their homes unless necessary; such as for food shopping, visits to chemist, GP or hospital. Absolutley no walks in town, along sea fronts, or parks are permitted and citizens are sent home by the police if they do not adhere to these instructions. These lockdown restrictions as extended in 31 cities around Turkey, and absolutely nobody can travel out of their city which they reside in. This includes Aydin (Where Kusadasi is situated), Izmir, and Muğla (Bodrum), and a complete lockdown is enforced every weekend in which nobody must leave their homes and fines are issued by the police to anybody that does not adhere to this lockdown. The government has also instructed for many other institues such as hotels and flights to close/be suspended until further notice since March, we are currently awaiting for further information which is being updated daily on the basis of evidence from the number of cases, and deaths of the previous days.
